War is just a racket. A racket is best described, I believe, as something that is not what it seems to the majority of people. Only a small inside group knows what it is about. It is conducted for the benefit of the very few at the expense of the masses.
Major General Smedley Butler, USMC (The most highly decorated U.S. Marine in history who was awarded the Congressional Medal of Honor twice.)
Former CIA analyst Larry Johnson predicts Donald Trump will again order military attacks against Iran as early as this week. He is not alone in this assessment. A host of geopolitical scholars, former military officers, former intelligence officers and academics are predicting the same thing. I sincerely hope they are wrong, but the massive military buildup in the Persian Gulf by U.S. forces strongly suggests they are right.
One thing is a fact: Iran believes an attack is coming, and they are “cocked-and-locked,” and maybe not locked.
Should Trump again “pull the trigger” and launch another bombing campaign—or even a ground invasion—against Iran, the consequences will be staggering worldwide. As I recently wrote, life as we knew it before February 28 (the day Trump launched Operation Epstein—excuse me, Epic Fury) is gone forever. But another attack will do more than change the world; it will cripple the world for decades to come.
America’s flagship newspaper, The New York Times, is often a mouthpiece for ideas and opinions that are flagrantly lacking in the principles of liberty, limited government and sound economics. But occasionally, the editors allow a sprinkling of truth to actually make it to the printing press. I happily came across such an article just recently.
Quoting The Times, published last Sunday, May 3:
Two months into the war in Iran, President Trump is confronting the complicated reality of a conflict that has proved costly and deeply unpopular, and lacks a clear endgame.
Energy markets are in turmoil. The Pentagon has given its first public estimate of the war’s cost: $25 billion so far. Key Republicans in Congress are growing impatient. And Mr. Trump is lashing out at foreign allies, like Germany, who have shown no interest in joining the fight.
Speaking to a crowd of supporters on Friday, Mr. Trump insisted he had no regrets.
“I did something that was, I don’t know, foolish, brave, but it was smart,” Mr. Trump said at The Villages, a retirement community in a solidly Republican area. “I would do it again.”
Still, Mr. Trump’s predictions of a relatively short-term conflict with minimal economic consequences appear to be crumbling around him.
“Unpopular” is putting it mildly. Almost NO ONE supports Trump’s war for Israel against Iran. That is, almost no one outside of the prostitutes in Congress (from both parties) who get rich off war profiteers’ donations—which in reality are taxpayer dollars recirculated from the taxpayers to the Defense Department to Palantir, Raytheon, Boeing, etc., and then back to the members of Congress.
General Smedley Butler nailed it: War is just a racket.
And did you see the thousands of people protesting Trump when he visited The Villages? This Florida community is among the reddest of the red. And The Villages absolutely hate Donald Trump.
"$25 billion” is a gross understatement. Many experts project the cost at $1 billion per day. Six weeks of war brings the conservative estimate to $42 billion. And I doubt that most knowledgeable people would argue that the cost to the American taxpayers is probably more than $50 billion so far.
But who’s going to quibble about $20 billion or $25 billion? After all, Trump and Congress are pushing a $1.5 trillion defense budget upon the American people, so Donald Trump and Lindsey Graham can attack countries like Venezuela, Iran, Haiti and Cuba. And maybe Brazil, Greenland and Canada after that.
Of course, Donald Trump has “no regrets.” Donald Trump has no conscience. His soul has turned to mush. And his heart has turned to stone.
Trump’s family has personally pocketed over $1 billion in just Trump’s first year in office this term. So what if 170 little grade school girls were incinerated within the first five minutes of Trump’s illegal war of aggression against Iran? Every innocent man, woman or child murdered by Trump’s Tomahawk missiles is money in his pocket.
Donald Trump is nothing more than a highly sophisticated, highly financed mercenary who gets paid by the body count. Trump’s subterranean apartment in Hell will be right next door to Joseph Stalin, Mao Tse-Tung and Adolf Hitler.
Mr. Trump on Friday described the U.S. Navy as acting like “pirates” as he celebrated the takeover of one of Iran’s cargo ships. On Saturday, a senior Iranian general said that renewed confrontation between Iran and the United States was possible, according to a report from the Fars news agency.
Mr. Trump has also acknowledged that military strikes might start up again. He told reporters in Florida on Saturday that a resumption of military strikes in Iran is a possibility, though he wouldn’t give details. “But you know, it’s a possibility that could happen,” he said.
Donald Trump is incredible, when you think about it. Ninety-nine percent of every word out of his mouth is a bald-faced lie. I mean, the man cannot say two sentences without lying. And yet, in the midst of his nonstop lies comes a candid admission. And what is even more incredible is that Trump’s Kool-Aid drinking toadies believe the lies and dismiss the odd honest slip of the tongue. It’s truly amazing!
Yes, under the orders of Donald Trump and Secretary of Defense Pete Hegseth, the U.S. Navy IS “acting like ‘pirates.’” And piracy is a grave international crime. But neither Donald Trump nor any member of his cabinet nor any member of Congress (save Thomas Massie and Rand Paul) nor the Zionist-controlled news media nor most evangelical pastors and churches give it a second thought.
The rule of law? Who cares about the rule of law? And speaking about the rule of law, The Times continues:
The president has declined to ask Congress for permission to continue the war, despite passing the 60-day statutory deadline to do so on Friday. The administration has argued it does not need such approval because the cease-fire essentially stopped the clock.
Trump just makes up the rules as he goes along. And our congressmen on Capitol Hill do absolutely nothing to hold this rogue, ruthless president accountable to the rule of law. Absolutely NOTHING! They are absolutely WORTHLESS. Today’s U.S. Congress is as bad or worse than the Roman Senate during the days of the Caesars.
The Strait of Hormuz is expected to remain effectively closed for weeks, raising the prospect of prolonged high energy prices. Despite Mr. Trump’s claims of gas prices dropping soon, Secretary of Energy Chris Wright acknowledged last month they could remain elevated for the rest of the year.
Mr. Trump has responded by repeating over and over again — including at a state dinner with the royal family and in a speech about tax cuts in Florida — that the war is worth any surge in gas prices if it means shutting down Iran’s nuclear capabilities.
Hear Trump again: “The war is worth any surge in gas prices if it means shutting down Iran’s nuclear capabilities.”
What a two-faced lying sack of cow manure!
Our own intelligence agencies—including the U.S. National Intelligence Director, Tulsi Gabbard, just three months before Netanyahu talked Trump into attacking Iran back in June of last year—have repeatedly reported that Iran has never developed a nuclear weapon and has not attempted to develop a nuclear weapon since at least 2003.
Besides, after the U.S. attack against Iran last June, Trump gloated repeatedly that we had “totally obliterated” Iran’s nuclear capabilities. If we “totally obliterated” Iran’s nuclear capabilities last year, what is this war against Iran in 2026 all about?
We all know what the war is about: It’s all about following the orders of Israel’s Benjamin Netanyahu. And Netanyahu doesn’t give a tinker’s dam about the United States or any other country on planet earth. He is hell-bent on saving his own presidency from the criminal charges of corruption that await him the minute the war stops and on killing as many Gentiles as he can.
And will someone please tell me why a criminal-terrorist state like Israel is allowed to have nuclear weapons, but Iran is not?
And if Trump and Israel attack Iran again, Iran’s retaliation will collapse the global economy—not for the rest of the year—but for decades, as the oil industry of the Gulf region will not just be damaged but destroyed. That includes the oil coming from the UAE and Saudi Arabia. Iran will also obliterate all of the U.S. military bases in the Persian Gulf (those not already destroyed) and also destroy Israel as a functioning nation-state. Not to mention, turning the lights and water off for the entire Gulf region.
As an aside, if the Zionist state is indeed destroyed by Iran, it would doubtless be the undoing of the antichrist doctrine of Christian Zionism, which is already in the process of disintegrating. Whether it happens during an imminent war with Iran or not, it is inevitable that the satanic doctrine of Christian Zionism is doomed. And when it happens, all genuine New Covenant believers will shout, “Hallelujah!” NOTHING has blinded the hearts and minds of people to Christ’s New Covenant more than the hellish doctrine of Christian Zionism.
A friend of Liberty Fellowship from Denmark is visiting with us right now, and he told me on Sunday that regular gasoline in Copenhagen is already over eight dollars a gallon. Another war with Iran will drive oil prices to devastating levels. We’re talking not merely about high gas prices but limited availability of gasoline products. We’re talking about empty shelves in the stores and farms with no harvests for lack of fertilizer, and, in some countries and local areas, no fuel to heat their homes. Parts of Europe have already implemented travel bans.
Donald Trump is on the precipice of plunging the entire world into a global depression—not recession—DEPRESSION. He’s turning every nation in the world against us. He’s deepening the hatred of our enemies and turning our friends into foes.
If Donald Trump does what it appears he is going to do and launches another attack on Iran, he will cement his place as perhaps the biggest failure of any major leader in world history and the worst president in post-Abraham Lincoln America—and the man who turned the clock backward on civilization for perhaps a half-century.
For the good of America and for the benefit of all mankind, Donald Trump should be removed from office NOW before he kills or starves us all.
