Mark this most recent event as yet another piece of evidence that Israel literally owns the U.S. Congress.
From Politico:
Netanyahu accepts Congress’ invitation to speak despite blowback.
Tensions have been mounting in recent weeks after Speaker Mike Johnson announced his plan to invite Netanyahu to address Congress.
Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu on Saturday accepted an invitation from congressional leaders to address a joint session, a decision that has sparked tension within the Democratic Party over Israel’s ongoing war in Gaza.
In a post to X, formerly known as Twitter, Netanyahu wrote that he was looking forward to the opportunity to “present the truth” to Congress about the “just war” that Israel has been waging in Gaza since the Oct. 7 Hamas attack, when 1,200 Israelis were killed and 240 others were taken hostage. In the months following Israel’s invasion of the Gaza Strip, at least 35,000 Palestinians have been killed, according to Palestinian health authorities, while millions of others have fled from their homes.
“I am very moved to have the privilege of representing Israel before both Houses of Congress and to present the truth about our just war against those who seek to destroy us to the representatives of the American people and the entire world,” Netanyahu wrote.
Tensions have been mounting in recent weeks after Speaker Mike Johnson announced his plan to invite Netanyahu to address Congress. The Democratic Party has splintered over U.S. support for Israel in its ongoing war in Gaza, particularly after recent strikes in a designated safe zone for Palestinians in the southern city of Rafah that reportedly killed at least 45 people.
Progressives, including Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-Vt.), who has been outspoken in his disapproval of U.S. military support for Israel’s war, denounced the invitation.
“Benjamin Netanyahu is a war criminal. He should not be invited to address a joint meeting of Congress. I certainly will not attend,” Sanders wrote in a post to X.
Sanders also referenced the International Criminal Court’s seeking arrest warrants for both Netanyahu and Hamas leader Yahya Sinwar for alleged war crimes committed on both sides.
“The ICC is seeking warrants for the arrest of Netanyahu and Yahya Sinwar, the leader of Hamas,” Sanders wrote. “The ICC is right. Both of these people are engaged in clear and outrageous violations of international law.”
Other lawmakers, including Rep. Hank Johnson (D-Ga.), Rep. Maxwell Frost (D-Fla.) and Rep. Jan Schakowsky (D-Ill.) have signaled that they would likely skip Netanyahu’s address.
Netanyahu’s upcoming address marks the fourth time the leader will address a joint session of Congress, making him the first head of state to do so.
Mark this event as the king coming to receive his demanded homage from his loyal lords and knights that owe their positions of power to the king’s largess.
Only four members of Congress have thus far said they would not attend the despicable display of disloyalty to their oaths of office, the Bill of Rights and American freedomists from every quarter—and not one of them is a Republican, thus proving what I said in this column last week that the Republican Party is 100% controlled by the Israeli lobby. And no member of Congress is more fanatical in his support of Zionist Israel than House Speaker Michael Johnson—who is a faithful member of a Christian Zionist Southern Baptist Church.
We are to the point that sending evangelicals to Congress is one of the worst things we can do when trying to protect America’s liberties.
Senator Sanders spoke the truth:
Benjamin Netanyahu is a war criminal. He should not be invited to address a joint meeting of Congress.
The ICC [International Criminal Court] is seeking warrants for the arrest of Netanyahu and Yahya Sinwar, the leader of Hamas. The ICC is right. Both of these people are engaged in clear and outrageous violations of international law.”
Inviting the Butcher of Gaza, Benjamin Netanyahu, to address Congress is tantamount to inviting Stalin, Hitler, Mao or Pol Pot.
And this invitation to the Israeli mass murderer will be his fourth invitation to address Congress, making him the foreign head of state to address the U.S. Congress more than any other. Winston Churchill addressed the U.S. Congress three times.
What an ignoble indictment against our representatives (from both parties) in Washington, D.C.
Who could have ever dreamed that an uneducated two-bit con man, thief, jailbird, family deserter, phony lawyer and preacher could scribble some heretical notes between the pages of a Bible and utterly expunge the historic truths of Christ’s New Covenant that had been faithfully proclaimed for 1,800 years of Church history from our country’s Protestant institutions and totally take over the entire governmental foreign policy of the world’s most powerful nation—a nation founded by (mostly) Christian people upon the Natural Laws of God—and turn it into an international warmongering machine that would result in the most bloodthirsty and murderous period of human history?
But that’s exactly what Cyrus Ingerson Scofield did.
Considering these events, I strongly urge readers to watch my message from last Sunday entitled Is God “Divorcing” America?
Here is the YouTube link to that message.
Christian Zionism is cursing America. And Christians are so indoctrinated in this antichrist theology that they are too blind to see it; and they don’t even realize that they are helping to lead America into global nuclear war. And Boy! Will they be surprised when no “Rapture” will save them.
So, when the mass murderer Benjamin Netanyahu comes to Capitol Hill and evangelicals and members of Congress wave their little Israeli flags, they may as well be waving the old Jolly Roger, the pirates’ black flag with its Skull and Crossbones, because both flags are the flags of murder and death.
