Last Sunday evening, May 2, Constitution Party Presidential Candidate Michael Peroutka officially invited me to be his Vice Presidential running mate. I formally accepted his invitation. Between now and the elections, Michael and I will be speaking at various meetings around the country promoting the principles of the Constitution Party. I am excited about being part of this endeavor.
I believe we are building the party of the future. All over America, more and more people are awakening to the reality that there is little substantial difference between the two major parties at the national level.
Furthermore, conservatives especially are becoming more and more cognizant of the reality that the Republican Party suffers from acute "Conservative Deficit Disorder." When it comes to conservative, Constitutional principles, not only is the Republican Party sick, it is comatose. That's why more and more conservatives are turning to the Constitution Party. It is the one party they know they can trust to faithfully represent their convictions.
Since the announcement that I was joining Michael in his quest for the White House, well-wishers from all over the country have written to express their appreciation and support. I sincerely appreciate each and every one of these letters and emails.

In the meantime, I will be traveling this weekend to Ashland, Ohio, to speak at the annual Reform Party Ohio State Convention. I am scheduled to speak this Saturday, May 8, at 2:30 pm EST. The theme of Michael's campaign is "Honor God, Defend The Family, Restore The Republic." With the assistance of Divine Providence and with the prayerful support of thousands of concerned and committed Americans, that is exactly what we intend to do.
